It completely stinks that I don't have a camera for this because I made homemade pizzas for our dinner tonight! We keep going to restaurants where the pizzas are messed up so I decided to make our own creations they way we want them! These pizzas are unique so I had to blog about it even without pictures! I made homemade crusts from the "Better Crocker's New Cookbook," but the toppings were our ideas.
Mel's Meat-Lover's Jalapeno Pizza: Cooked hamburger with pizza seasoning, then drained it. Put the hamburger back in the pan and sauteed sweet onions and diced tomatoes (with sweet onion & roasted garlic). So the toppings included: garlic and onion pizza sauce, 6-cheese Italian blend and cheddar cheese, the above mentioned sauteed ingredients, salame, pepperoni, and - just so you know it's an authentic Mel creation - jalapenos, and then more cheese. Mel rates his pizza a 12 (out of 10), best he ever had!
Julie's Pineapple & Veggie Bacon Pizza: Sauteed sweet onion in balsamic vinegar then added Asian seasoning, pineapple and diced tomatoes (with sweet onion & roasted garlic). So the toppings included: 4 cheese pizza sauce, 6-cheese Italian blend and cheddar cheese, the above mentioned sauteed ingredients, veggie bacon, and then more cheese. I rate my pizza a 9 1/2 - 10!
Can't wait to make pizza creations for us!!

Camera-less
Sad to say, it may be a while before I can post any new recipe photos. Our camera has completely died. Hopefully we can afford a new one the beginning of next month. So, if there are any followers out there, hopefully I can start new posts in the next 2-4 weeks!! And if anyone out there actually reads this, I have a second blog too: http://thankful-julie.blogspot.com/ if you're interested. Thanks!!
