Spicy Black Bean Burgers

It's been so long since I've cooked anything I was having serious cooking withdrawals! I just made these an hour ago. They are so good, a 9-91/2. I didn't buy any black beans because I thought I had 2 cans at home, but turns out I only had 1. So I used 1 can black & 1 can kidney beans. I can never find scallions, so I didn't use those. I did pretty much everything else the same. I've been wanting to try making my own veggie burger for a while & I gathered 4 recipes to try; 2 this pay period & 2 next. These were so yummy & easy to make, I'd definitely make them again!  I took 2 photos of ingredients b/c the 1st is the burger & the 2nd are the toppings (except the salsa ended up in both photos, but it was just a topping).

Kool Dogz #2

I just went outside to check Bre's progress w/ the "Kool Dogz".  She was done, so I let Ellie out to try it.  Here are some photos of her!

Nicole (at work) gave me this "Kool Dogz" thing that she bought for her sister, but she didn't want it.  Here are some cute pictures of Bre, Bailey, & Twyla enjoying it.  Well, Bailey just stuck his head in the bucket,  Bre wasn't willing to share.  I had to hold her back while Twyla licked it.  It's just frozen water w/ dog treats in it.  You can use any combo of liquids and treats, so I think I'll make some more stuff later (after I get paid).  I wanted to make sure the dogs liked it first.  The video shows where Twyla came over & I had to scold Bre b/c I was afraid she was about to get very aggressive; it's cute though.

Pineapple Paletas

I made this on Monday.  They were so good I ate the whole batch in one day!  A 10!  And super easy to make.  I will make them again - maybe even this weekend.  I would like to substitute the lime juice for coconut extract though, just for fun! "bon appetit" has a lot of yummy-looking ice pop recipes & as soon as I have the money for more ingredients, I want to make them all!
